Something Is Shifting in Switzerland
In the first three months of 2025, Switzerland witnessed a remarkable surge 🚀 in new business registrations,
The data, sourced from the IFJ Institute for Jungunternehmer AG* and Swiss Commercial Reg. Gazette (SHAB) analysis for Q1 2025, indicates a profound desire for independence among entrepreneurs.
But I think there’s more to the story..
From what I’ve seen and heard: in conversations, coaching sessions, and in my own journey, people are looking for meaning 🌟 . They’re questioning the structures they’ve been part of, and asking themselves:
“What do I really want to create? How do I want to work? What truly matters to me?”
Some are coming straight out of university 🪴 with bold ideas. Others are stepping away from big careers 🌳 after a restructure or a pause, choosing something more aligned with themselves. I see in my exchanges and contacts a shift away from the initial but “How can I do this or that?” towards questions such as: “Why am I doing this?” and “What do I want to do that aligns with my values?”
Basically, it’s not just about launching a business, it’s also about the mindset it takes to have the courage to start and then keep going when things get messy, uncertain, or slow.
💡 That’s where clarity, inner alignment & having a network of meaningful relationships make all the difference. Sectors like consulting, trades, and real estate are seeing big spikes, but I’m more interested in the people 🤝 behind these numbers.
If you’ve made the leap (or are thinking about it), I’d love to hear:
🎯 What helped you take the first step?
🎯 What keeps you grounded when the motivation dips?
Let’s talk about the inner side of entrepreneurship – the part we don’t always see in the stats.
